Avis Kimble

Avis was Playmate of the Month for November 1962. Her pictorial was titled Rara Avis.

Avis was born Oct. 18, 1844, in Chicago. She was 17 at the time her Playmate of the Month pictorial was photographed. She was one of three finalists for Playmate of the Year (June Cochran beat out Avis and Laura Young for the title). She worked as a Bunny at the Chicago Playboy Club and ran a boutique in Chicago.

Avis was one of the editors’ choices for the top 10 Playmates of all time at Playboy’s 10-year celebration.
