Heidi was Playmate of the Month for June 1961. Her pictorial was titled Girl in a Whirl.
Heidi was born Oct. 11, 1940, in Klagenfurt, Austria. When she was 16, Heidi and her parents moved to Milwaukee, WI. She studied nutrition at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, but dropped out and worked as a hair stylist. She also worked as a Bunny at the Playboy Club in Los Angeles.
Heidi was one of the more popular Playmates of her era. She was among 10 Playmates chosen by Playboy editors as their favorites in the magazine first 10 years as part of the Editors’ Choice pictorial in December 1963. A year later, she was among 10 reader favorites in the Reader’s Choice pictorial. Eighteen years after her Playmate of the Month pictorial, she appeared in the pictorial Playmates Forever!
According to “The Playmate Book: Five Decades of Centerfolds,” Heidi moved to California and married actor Chris Anders. The marriage ended in divorce, as did a second marriage. She continued working as a hairstylist and as a dental hygienist for cats and dogs.
